Bean dreaming of adventure
It's time to fly
Hey there! How have you been? It’s been a while and we have some big news:
We’re heading out to explore Europe this summer!
We will be taking a breather and we will pause Dü Coffee roasting and shipping from July 1 through October 31.
If you’re one of our regular coffee lovers, don’t fret! You can place one last order by June 16th, and we’ll save you 20% + free shipping while you’re at it.
So what’s up, Michael?
We started Dü Coffee with the vision of sharing great coffee roasts and café culture from some of the most coffee-obsessed world cities we know.
We started with Prague, Milan, Stockholm and Istanbul. More than a simple pick-me-up, the rituals of coffee in these far-flung places have become the symbols of the people and palates of place.
Now we’re off to visit some of the best roasters in Europe, and when we’re back this fall (before the holidays), we’ll be adding roasts from other world cities like Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Taipei, Melbourne and more.
Last chance before we fly.
Many of you are regulars and love our beans! We want to give you a chance to make one last order before we go on extended holiday.
Here’s all you need to do:
How much coffee should I buy?
If you’re fans of our coffee, we know you’ll want to stock up, so here are some guidelines for how much coffee you should order.
Assuming 2/3 of an ounce of coffee (18 grams) per cup of coffee, here’s how many cups you can brew up per bag:
12 oz bag (340 grams): 19 cups — lasts about 10 days*
2 pound bag (900 grams): 50 cups — lasts about 25 days
5 pound bag (2200 grams): 123 cups — lasts about 61 days
(* number of days listed assumes you drink 2 cups per day)
So how long will our coffee last? We package our coffee in sealed bags, and coffee kept in a cool, dry place should last at least a month. Order extra and you can keep your unopened bags in the freezer up to 6 months.
Remember: Last day to order is
Sunday, June 16th!
We’ll be back, let’s stay in touch!
While we’re out exploring the coffee scene in Europe, we’ll post some caffeinated Red Eye reports from the road.
We’d love to stay in touch, and if you’re in Europe this year, let us know where and when! Maybe we can connect up over coffee. Reply to this email or send us an email at [email protected] and tell us about your travel plans.
A heartfelt thank you for joining us on this delicious journey, we love celebrating coffee and culture together with you.
Ciao!
