Final Call: Have your Boarding Pass?

The door is closing, get on board

Ciao coffee lover!

Ever found yourself sprinting through an airport, heart pounding, desperately trying to make a flight? Picture this:

You’re dashing through the LAX international terminal, dodging fellow travelers, your bag trailing behind you.

The overhead speakers crackle to life:

"Final call for all passengers, United flight 77 to London, Gate 132... Door is closing in 1 minute!"

With every stride, the gate feels just out of reach. Your mind is racing. "If I miss this flight...!"

Final call, let’s hop on board.

Last Sunday, I sent you an important message. Did you get it?
(you can read it here).

We’re roasting our final batches of fresh coffee beans for our Prague (medium), Milan (Espresso), Stockholm (light) and Istanbul (dark) roasts this week, before we head out for a summer of European travel.

So, here’s your final call: Today is the final day to order our fresh roasted beans before we pause roasting and shut down the roaster until November.

Stock up on beans today and you’ll save 20% on your order, plus we’ll throw in fast and free shipping.

Here’s how to order fresh coffee for the months ahead:

  1. Order any of our Prague, Milan, Stockholm and Istanbul roasts in any bag size (12 oz, 2 pounds, and 5 pounds) by Sunday, June 16th.

  2. Use discount code FLYBEANS and you’ll save 20% on your coffee order + free shipping.

  3. We roast up your order fresh and will ship to you next week.

Last day to order is
Sunday, June 16 (Today)

How much coffee should I buy?

If you’re fans of our coffee, we know you’ll want to stock up, so here are some guidelines for how much coffee you should order.

Assuming 2/3 of an ounce of coffee (18 grams) per cup of coffee, here’s how many cups you can brew up per bag:

  • 12 oz bag (340 grams): 19 cups — lasts about 10 days*

  • 2 pound bag (900 grams): 50 cups — lasts about 25 days

  • 5 pound bag (2200 grams): 123 cups — lasts about 61 days

(* number of days listed assumes you drink 2 cups per day)

So how long will our coffee last? We package our coffee in sealed bags, and coffee kept in a cool, dry place should last at least a month. Order extra and you can keep your unopened bags in the freezer up to 6 months.

Last day to order is
Sunday, June 16 (Today)

We’ll send postcards.

While we’re out exploring the coffee scene in Europe, we’ll post some caffeinated Red Eye reports from the road.

We’d love to stay in touch, and if you’re in Europe this year, let us know where and when! Maybe we can connect up over coffee. Reply to this email or send us an email at [email protected] and tell us about your travel plans.

Ciao for now!
Michael and the Dü Coffee crew.
